Blood Donation Eligibility

At Lions Blood Bank, we ensure that every donation is safe for both the donor and the recipient. To become a blood donor, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Age: Minimum 18 years and maximum 65 years.
• Weight: Minimum body weight of 50 kg.
• Health Condition: You should be in good health, free from any infectious diseases at the time of donation.
• Donation Interval:
  • Males: Once every 90 days (3 months)
  • Females: Once every 120 days (4 months)
• Hemoglobin Level: Must meet the minimum required level (as per medical guidelines).
• Lifestyle: Donors should not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or unsafe medication.
